This guided adventure combines two hours of hands-on 4x4 beach driving training at Fort Fisher State Recreation Area's 4x4 beach, followed by two hours of kayaking to Zeke’s Island and back. What You’ll Experience: 🚙 2 Hours of 4x4 Beach Driving Instruction ✔ Learn tire pressure adjustments, traction control, and sand driving techniques. ✔ Practice turning, braking, and recovery methods for navigating deep sand. ✔ Receive expert instruction while driving a COE Land Rover Defender 110. ✔ Follow TREAD Lightly! principles for responsible off-road recreation. 🛶 2 Hours of Kayaking to Zeke’s Island ✔ Paddle from Fort Fisher’s 4x4 beach to Zeke’s Island, a protected tidal area with rich wildlife. ✔ Explore pristine waters, marshland, and coastal ecosystems. ✔ Enjoy a relaxing yet adventurous paddle, guided by experienced instructors. ✔ Spot birds, marine life, and scenic coastal views on your journey.
